Pensions - Articles - TRUST|Pensions to offer optional ISA service to membership

A straightforward investment approach for both experienced and first time investors, similar fund choices offered both within and without the master trusts and the ISA service aims to make investing easier, but with no restriction on choice

The service means that members of the scheme have the option of accessing the AXA Self Investor ISA service from the TRUST|Pensions website or from the scheme portal.

AXA Self Investor offers a range of ready-made funds managed to different levels of risk, as well as their investment expert’s top 100 funds chosen following an in-depth selection process. For investors wanting a broader selection there are over 1,250 funds covering major sectors and asset classes.

Furthermore the service offers useful tools, videos, and a dedicated call centre to help make investing easier and more accessible for customers, many of whom may be new to investing.

Ian Davies, Bridge Trustees Ltd, the trustee of the scheme
"We recognise that members will be increasingly aware of different investment wrappers available to them alongside their workplace pension. This creates a signpost for employees who are looking for a reliable stocks and shares ISA provider, without restricting their choice of provider in any way.”

Griselda Williams, Head of Business Development, TRUST|Pensions
"We are delighted to offer the AXA Self Investor stocks and shares ISA as an option for the scheme's members. AXA Self Investor focuses on making things easier for all investors, but particularly those lacking time or confidence to make and manage complicated investment plans. That ethos fits well with our current and target membership."

Nick Lee, Director, AXA Self Investor
“The introduction of auto-enrolment means employers are now engaging more with their employees about the importance of savings and investment for a better financial future. AXA Self Investor is committed to helping people become better investors by making investing as
straightforward as possible. Giving people easier access to financial solutions via their workplace is certainly one way to achieve this.”
